All PPM online courses do not require any face-face-face contact with the instructor nor do they require attendance on-campus at IUM campuses.

The PPM is structured in "pinwheel" fashion: while the program has no modular prerequisites, courses within each module are integrated and complement each other. (This is reflected in the titles assigned to each module.) Courses are internally related within modules; modules are inte-grated within the larger program structure.

This design allows participants to enter the PPM at the start of any module except for the capstone module.

The capstone module must be completed as the final module in the program; particpants must successfully complete all other PPM modules before they can enroll in the capstone module.

Participants may defer a maximum of two different modules in the entire program according to IUM policy. Only entire modules may be deferred; participants are not permitted to defer individual courses or to defer the same module twice.

Participants may defer entry to the PPM for up to one calendar year after acceptance to the program according to IUM policy.

Please see the current IUM Academic Catalog for a full description of the module deferral policy and the deferral of enrollment policy.
