Course Description

PMAN 612: Project Management Capstone (6 credits)

Note: All courses carry three (3) credits unless otherwise stated.

This course integrates the skills, knowledge, and firsthand observations that participants have acquired over the course of the entire PPM program.

The course investigates and discusses project portfolio management, aligning projects to business strategy for optimized enterprise success, and PMBOK® practices applied in the modern firm or organization.

The course focuses on the importance of developing and delivering high-level project manage-ment and applying a framework to ensure customer satisfaction.

Participants will master project management techniques by taking part in a project simulation.

Participants learn advanced simulation tools and techniques that can reinforce project planning and control skills, and develop their leadership skills in the context of change-control and decision-making.
