Instructional Methodology

The EMBA is taught entirely in English. Courses may consist primarily of lecture presentations by faculty members or they may emphasize discussion and exchange of ideas among faculty and students. Seminars involve smaller groups of students than lecture courses, and students may be required to make presentations as well as participate in discussions. Class participation, research papers, and examinations are all important.

Outside the classroom, students are expected to make a significant learning effort; students should expect to spend approximately 30-40 hours per week outside of class for study, class projects, reading, and preparation.

Students are strongly encouraged to purchase a personal laptop computer equipped with a LAN card, and the latest version of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
